YEARLY RECOMMENDATIONS

There are many stages of life and every 'body' is unique so, therefore, there are many recommendations.

A Note about Titers:  We like to use Titers in place of vaccines.  While a bit more expensive, these are blood tests that access if a vaccine is needed or not.  IF YOU EVER FAIL A TITER, WE WILL VACCINATE AT NO CHARGE TO YOU!

CANINE:

Core vaccines DHPP
Vaccinate at:  Week 7, Week 11, Week 14, 1 yr, 3 yrs
Titers at: Year 2, Year 4, Then yearly

Rabies vaccine:
This is a New York state requirement
Vaccinate at six months, then one year six months, then every three years

Baseline blood work (CBC/Chem)

At puppyhood, then yearly to track any changes
At 6 years of,age, consider blood work every six months

Ultrasound
Once in a lifetime to evaluate organ function or if there are any abnormalities on bloodwork
After age 6, every two years

Microchip! - this is a must for any dog! Just ask us about stories of reconnection after a pet has been lost!
